Again, I’m delay to post my article… Guess I am a lazy person but still I’m keep tracking with Windows insider preview builds will post with latest version I promise. 😂 This time let’s open box with Beats Flex wireless earbud. 🎧
After Apple released iPhone 12 on Oct 14th there is one earbud product has been released too just so quietly on the Apple Store that’s the Beats Flex. The Beats Flex can be considering as having a good price ratio wireless product if you compare to it last version which Beats X. That’s also the reason I jump to Beats Army haha.
Okay, cut the BS let’s open the box with Beats Flex that I ordered from Apple Store. Multiple photos warning ⚠️

You can see that Beats Flex box has been firmly seal with package that’s the familiar Apple style well protect with the inside product.

See this photo from a different angle so you may better understanding the way they how to package it.

The actual product box wasn’t so big just have enough size well compact design.

Simple feature introduction printed on the back side of product box.

Meet the Beats Flex with Yuzu Yellow color… Well I wasn’t planning to place order with this color but since it just released and open for purchase there only have 2 of color you can choose Classic Black & Yuzu Yellow. The other 2 of color are Smoke Gray & Flame Blue available on the beginning of 2021… Can’t wait that’s so long for me so I am take a Yuzu Yellow. 😶

Back side of the foam with earbud.

Have to say that Beats Flex come with a USB-C charge connector & USB-C to USB-C dongle, that’s good dropped the Lightning connector so it can be more compatible with Android phone. Oh also totally agree with below slogan “Great sound starts with proper fit”.

There have four size of eartips that you can choose to fit with your ear. Good. But why is these eartips having some foam residue on it? (I believe it from the black foam see above photo that used to seal the Beat Flex earbud) This shouldn’t happen since this is a new product! Apple need do need to check out their QA for this earbud. 😓

See the whole family inside the box…

Left side on the Beats Flex with logo and USB-C connector and a long volume adjust bar. On the right side printed with brand and serial number information plus a activate button but without a logo…

On the actual usage the pairing is easy and quick just like AirPods nothing need to worries about as long as you updated to iOS 14 on iPhone or installed the Beats app on your Android Phone it should be having same experience. But for the sounds quality nothing special compare with my Sony WH-900N I would say just enough. For someone like me use earbud or headset 4 – 6 hours per day the battery life wasn’t so good, even Apple said that Beats Flex can listening up to 12 hours… In reality when you fully charged Beats Flex to 100% and start play music with 50% volume after 2 hours it will drop 23% to 28%. But still can support all day listening time.

One thing really need to mention is the product QA see below photo as the flat cable shouldn’t be bend like this especially when you pull off from the seal foam. I’m just hoping the Flex-Form cable can durable as they said. 😭

Still that is a enough product for Beats brand as is cheap than Beats X. And really fit for daily listening having a USB-C + Fast Fuel to extend your listening time. Re-designed control bar came with fresh color, magnetic earbuds with auto-play or pause feature… If you are someone like me put AirPods away for a while and doesn’t like to carry a heavy headset you could try with Beats Flex.
