Resolve unable to download Windows 11 ARM ISO

As Microsoft finally approval Windows 11 ARM to be running on Apple M1 and M2 computer, the demands for obtaining the Windows 11 ARM ISO file increased dramatically. However due to such high traffic for downloading the ISO file it seems they’re implemented certain security measures to prevent download from unauthorized services or locations, which also impacted to some users with legitimate demand.

In the following post I will demonstrate how to fix this issue in order to download the Windows 11 ARM ISO file.

If you are intended to get Windows 11 ARM ISO to running on your Apple computer with M1 or M2 chip, there are two ways you can get the ISO file: 1 download from Windows Insider Preview Builds site; 2 download from Parallels Desktop for Mac with version 18.

If your Mac installed with Parallels Desktop software and equipped with Apple M1 or M2 chip, you can go straight to deploy Windows 11 VM directly from Parallels Desktop for Mac. Refer to the KB article: Install Windows 11 on a Mac with Apple M-series chip (parallels.com)

But if you just want to obtain the Windows 11 ARM ISO file and cannot download from Windows Insider Site you can follow below steps:

1.Access Windows Insider Preview Downloads site: Download Windows Insider Preview ARM64 (microsoft.com).

2.Select Windows 11 ARM64 with either from Dev Channel or Beta Channel > click Confirm.

3.Select language > English US > click Confirm. (So far only English US available)

4.After validated your request you should see a “Download Now” button with link expiration date.

However, if you encountered an error message after step 3 shows “We encountered a problem processing your request…” like the one shown below, you need to check whether you’ve sign in with your personal Microsoft account.

If you signed your Microsoft account but get a different error message like this one show below, then try to switching to a different network or using a proxy server to download. This is probably that your IP address or location being banned due to too much download request.
